When I walk into a thrift store I can take hours to rummage through racks and racks of dresses, tops, and skirts but when it comes to the pants and jeans section, I rarely ever spend more than 20 minutes. Reason being that in my experience in finding a pair of decent and fitting bottoms is extremely difficult so I think I kind of just give up in that department.
But lo and behold, last week I found a perfect pair of (mom) jeans that I knew would be amazing as shorts.
I really do mean it when I say it's perfect. The buttery smooth and soft denim, the light and versatile wash, and the well fitted high-waist = the best combination in my book.
These mom-jeans-turned-shorts made it just in time before chilly September kicks in. And I think I just may live in them for the few weeks of summer left.
Holy. Crap. Those are PERFECT!

ReplyDeleteHaha. I always wondered why they were called mom jeans. I mean, what's so wrong with a pair of well-fitting jeans?
ReplyDeleteThese look great as shorts too though, love the early 90's look...way to bring it back, girl!
You made a great job of these. I love the colour of them!
